KRI Nanggala 402 was found, 53 crew members died

Assistance from neighboring countries and other countries was also received to participate in the search for this submarine. The United States military will send its military teams and aircraft to support the search. Malaysia sent the MV Mega Bakti, a specification rescue ship that serves as a surface support for the submarine. Meanwhile, Singapore also provided full assistance and support for the search for the Nanggala 402 submarine, including by sending the MV Swift Rescue which had departed on April 21, 2021 and is expected to arrive today.
The search is still being carried out by a team from the Indonesian Navy, including assistance from foreign countries, such as from Australia, sending 2 warships named HMAS Ballarat and HMAS Sirius. HMAS Ballarat arrived in Bali waters Friday 23 April, has sonar capability and a helicopter rover.
